Foot Locker is één van 's werelds meest toonaangevende merken retailers op het gebied van sportschoenen, kleding en accessoires. Foot Locker richt zich vooral op de jeugdige markt en is inmiddels net zo populair geworden als de merken die het verkoopt. Veel van onze producten zijn exclusief verkrijgbaar bij Foot Locker en in geen enkele andere winkel te vinden. De eerste Foot Locker winkel werd in 1974 in Californië geopend. Op dit moment zijn er bijna 4000 winkels in 21 landen, waarvan meer dan 500 in Europa.

 
Summary of Job
The main role of the Developer is divided into two main areas namely adjusting draft designs and handling. The collections the Developer, Sourcing will be working on are; Sneaker Freak (Men’s & Ladies), Foot Locker Basics (Men’s) and Majestic (Men’s, Ladies and Kids).  Any new briefings of ranges can be given any time.

 
Tasks and Responsibilities
Create and update all specifications of the styles of the apparel and accessories into our electronical product database program (EPDM) done by the external freelance designers.
Create/ compile the technical specification in EPDM after the Protos are requested and as well update these after final product meetings.
Develop the Accessoires range and update all the cads and follow up in the EPDM program.
Design and revise designs on buyer’s request, department needs, on bought samples and pictures.
If necessary change designs from the external designers.
Clarify with vendors/agents on all questions based on the established cads after Protoplacement
Manage a part of the order administration, means send orders to the vendors and follow up with them.
Handle questions based on delivery/logistic questions.                                                                                                                                                                          
                                                                                                                                                                                    Technical Content Knowledge
Advanced Working knowledge of Illustrator CS3 and Photoshop CS3
Good technical drawing skills
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Experience with a electronical product database program is a plus
Strong communication skills.  Ability to understand the targets of  the Sourcing department and to combine this with the needs of the Buying department.
Communicate with external vendors by e-mail and phone.
Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines.
Strong organizational skills - Needs to be able to multi-task.
Ability to develop relationships and work in a team.
Ability to manage expectations.
 
Key Competencies
Additional Qualifications:
Degree or diploma in Design / Fashion/ Textile
Preferable 2-3 years of work experience in a similar coordinating role
Fluency in English, verbally and in writing, any additional languages are a strong plus
