Your Responsibilities:
Project Execution

  • Execution of Project Management according to the NXP quality requirements (BCaM, CMMi). 
  • Lead and realize different kinds of Industrial projects with multi-disciplinary, multi-site and remote teams. 
  • Participate in NXP technology teams (new package concepts, design rules, etc.). 
  • Review manufacturing changes (qualification plans, waivers, 8D’s, risk-assessments, non-conformances.
  • Reports progress and gate passing in the Project Review Board meetings.
  • Ensures that project activities are executed timely and efficiently to meet the production start and release schedule.
  • Professional execution of risk management, use of tools as FMEA and Maturity Matrix.
  • Compliance to configuration management system with attention to managing change and controlling the project scope.
  • Drive work-process improvements in managing projects.

Team building
  • Leads a cross functional engineering team for technology development projects.
  • Inspires, encourages and drives the team members ensuring a high level of motivation and commitment.
  • Ensures that problems and issues are openly discussed, effective solutions are defined and implemented.
  • Coaching of (junior) project managers

Interface to Stakeholders
  • Alignment with Program Management, Technology Development and Operations to meet customer requirements.
  • Timely escalation of issues and risks, taking responsibility to resolve project issues.
  • Ensures compliance to product policies and guidelines and quality targets.
  • Drives a close cooperation with customers and suppliers during the development project.

Your Profile:
  • Work experience as a Project Manager in large (>10 FTE) technology development processes. (semi-conductor or electronics).
  • Knowledge and understanding of semiconductor production processes (wafer processing, packages, assembly, testing and packaging).
  • Experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams of technical professionals.
  • Excellent communicator and people manager.
  • Bachelor’s or University degree in technical discipline (preferably in electronics).
  • Knowledge of project management methods, risk management, costs estimation techniques.
  • Good coaching and negotiating skills, due to complex environment.
