Your new role
The role is with the Tissue Culture Boxmeer (TCB) department. This team is focused on the production of viral antigens in continuous and single use bioreactors. As a bioprocess technician you will be involved in the:

• Preparation of media, which are used in the cultivation of cells and viruses.
• Production of viral antigens and controlling the biological culture processes in bioreactors.
• Identifying deviations and malfunctions with regards to the process, equipment and safety
• Involved with common USP and DSP steps within the department.
• Assisting and supporting problem analyses from the raw materials to end products using MSP techniques such as scientific problem solving or Kaizen.

What you'll need to succeed
The most suitable candidate will have a MBO or MLO or relevant work experience. A broad knowledge and practical experience with cell and virus culture techniques. Having GMP and cleanroom experience would be considered an advantage. The ideal candidate will be motivated, eager to learn and have an analytical way of thinking. Dutch and English (written and spoken) is a strict requirement for this role.
