Your new role
- Work in close relationship with the HR Business Partner for the coordination, preparation & implementation of HR projects, processes & activities to ensure an excellent employee experience
- Create partnerships inside HR & outside HR (project teams, communications, finance, line managers) to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization
- Give HR support on site for employees in collaboration with HRBP, People solutions and People Advisory Group (PAG)
- Responsible for creation of policies, SOPs, WI, handbook, new addenda in collaboration with PAG
- Support managers to solve for complex employee relations & Performance Improvement Plans
- Partner with HR Business Partner and PAG to ensure positive labour relations
- Organize, coordinates and performs non-People solution activities ( oa Benefits, vendor management), as well as ad-hoc administrative tasks in order to ensure excellent employee experience, en ensure good handover if/when these tasks move to new HR stakeholders
- Ensure accuracy of employee data in updates, reporting, audits, new documents such as amendments where necessary
- Coordinate on-boarding / off-boarding process from HR perspective & ensure right trainings to new employees
- Consult with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate
- Assess and anticipate HR-related needs, communicate needs proactively, and develop integrated solutions
- Analyse trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with the legal department as needed/required
- Support People Solutions, Talent Acquisition & Comp&Ben for local activities & implementation
- Be an interface for works council
- Manage sick leave in systems & support managers with re- integration
- Drive HR Process excellence to support improvements and be a partner in optimising the way of working
- Collaborate on internal HR communications
What you'll need to succeed
University degree in Human Resources
Solid understanding of local country labour law
Minimum of 5 years as HR generalist
Skills:
- Self-motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team
- Result oriented and able to develop plans/solutions and to deliver expected results even in ambiguous circumstances
- Skilled in developing HR plans/initiatives and aligning people management practices to support business objectives
- Openness and flexibility and ability to deal with and communicate change effectively
- Ability to manage and interpret employment laws into pragmatic solutions and navigate line management through its complexities
- Analytical and problem solving skills along with the ability to make timely and balanced decisions
- Business communication, negotiating and influencing skills demonstrated by the ability to use a range of different approaches, to persuade others and to gain acceptance of proposals and decisions
- Ability to work in an environment of ambiguity and change
- Experience and/or understanding of agile ways of working is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills combined with cultural sensitivity
- Excellent Dutch & English skills (speaking & writing)
