Your new role
As Project Manager Engineering, you are responsible for basic and detailed design complying with project objectives and site specification and requirements. You will deliver projects within budget, quality, schedule and scope as per the Prothya Project Management standard and communicate deviations and bottlenecks. The main responsibilities will include managing large, long term multidisciplinary projects across Prothya’s entire strategic portfolio with high impact and high risk of failure that contribute to achieving the desired business direction. You will also provide functional leadership to one or more larger project teams.
- Analyze the impact of changes on time schedule, budget, scope, quality and agreements. Ensure alignment with stakeholders and making appropriate decisions and implementing them.
- Identify and assess problems and risks in the planning, process, quality and results and agree on solutions with the sponsor and stakeholders.
- Ensure transparent, fluent and effective communication with all internal and external stakeholders
- Be accountable for the financial completion, the delivered products, their quality and the time required to realise them.
- Ensure transfer, archiving and assurance of project results in the organisation.
The two main project areas are as follows:
- Re-processing of two batches in existing production facilities
- Set-up cooperation with international partner for Fill & Finish of Prothya bulk product at an international production site.
What you'll need to succeed
You have good working knowledge of project management systems and tools (MS Office, MS Project). Knowledge of GMP, GxP procedures, EMA/FDA requirements and risk management tools such as HAZOP and FMEA. You preferably have previous experience in plasma or other protein manufacturing environments, and you are able to build up technical knowledge and bring innovative ideas to keep improving processes. You have strong planning, communication and organisational skills.
