Job Purpose: Shapes the development, deployment and improvement of RMG Digital tooling. Digital Tooling drives revenue optimization and support strategic decision-making. A truly global role where you will work cross-functionally with design teams, data engineers, data analysts & data scientists, visualization and front-end developers, external agencies, business-facing stakeholders, and internal customers. You will build out business & product requirements, deliver data-driven solutions & roadmaps that bring value to Organisation. This role will be high impact & high visibility as it will have ownership over critical tools and products to enable achieving the RMG vision of Organisation
1. Oversee Technical project delivery
- Scope and define technical deliverables of RMG tool development & deployment, working closely with D&T across domains (data analysts, scientists, engineers, and Power BI developers).
- Lead E2E technical project delivery across design, development and deployment, ensuring delivery in line with Digital roadmap.
- Guide technical teams in problem-solving when challenges and bottlenecks arise, providing a broad range of technical expertise to advise on best and most pragmatic actions to take, at speed while securing business requirements.
- Foresee typical delivery risks from a tech side and proactively manage them to ensure no/limited impact on delivery.
- Continuously improve products through post-deployment feedback, performance monitoring, and iterative feature development in partnership with D&T teams.
2. Translate business needs into tech requirements
- Partner with RMG Commercial Deployment Leads and RMG Pillar experts to gather and synthesize business requirements from Opcos/end-users and global perspective, to co-develop digital solutions that are relevant, easy to use and add value.
- Effectively translate business requirements into actionable technical specifications, to brief technical teams for development
- Be the go-to expert for RMG data, data models, KPIs and metrics, data analytics, algorithms and dashboards, ensuring consistency in design & development approach across RMG digital tools’ suite
3. Stakeholder management & cross-functional collaboration
- Coordinate internal teams & external partners, managing interdependencies with adjacent projects to avoid delays/conflicts.
- Be the tech liaison for change management and capability building, supporting Commercial Deployment Leads drive adoption
- Engage with a broad range of stakeholders – including senior leaders – to land RMG tooling roadmap with appropriate buy-in & sponsorship
Requirements:
- Education: Master degree, preferably in data engineering/data science domain
- Work experience: 7+ Years with 5+ years data science, data engineering, data analyst roles, related field preferably within Revenue Management
- Required work experience in field of expertise:
- Demonstrated experience in Commercial Analytics / Revenue Management
- Experience within FMCG or FMCG consulting
- Experience with data-driven tooling and advanced analytics
- Experience with customer-focused technology and with agile methodologies & Scrum
- Proficiency in data visualization tools
- Languages: Fluent English speaker – other ‘global’ language highly valued.
