Your new role
We are seeking a highly motivated team member for the role of Distribution Specialist to develop, manage and maintain a GMP/Non-GMP warehouse and inventory management system in the exciting new area of cancer immunotherapy. Distribution and Warehouse Operations is part of the Site Supply Chain Department.
The Supply Chain Distribution team effectively and efficiently directs warehouse management functions to ensure manufacturing operations, quality and delivery goals are met. In this role you will support manufacturing operations, product shipping and component receiving to ensure inventory accuracy, timely supply of materials and on-time shipments.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Perform Manual Material Decontamination in accordance with procedures and policies while following EHS requirements.
- Prepare and deliver raw materials to various departments as needed, ensuring proper procedure and temperature range are being followed.
- Restack incoming goods and prep/restack outbound goods/materials, per established policies and procedures.
- Plan, oversee, and participate in the warehouse management operations and activities to support (production) operations and other internal customers.
- Manage the day-to-day assignments of warehouse job tasks and monitor completion of required activities.
- Perform accurate ERP transactions.
- Communicate inventory discrepancies to the warehouse operations team and escalate when appropriate.
- Always adhere to all safety procedures and GMP requirements.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Relevant education in science, engineering or facilities (MBO/HBO level)
- Must be able to work in a highly regulated environment; knowledge of GMP is considered a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are essential in this collaborative work environment.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced small company environment with minimal direction and able to adjust workload based upon changing priorities, hands-on individual.
- Living in the Amsterdam area and in possession of own transportation, as flexibility is needed to work on shifts, on-call hours and irregular hours (incl weekends).
- Only candidates with a valid EU work permit will be considered.
What you’ll get in return
Hays Detachering | This is a project that will start with a contract for 6 months through Hays. This is a cover position, so extension of the assignment is not yet known, and therefore cannot be guaranteed. At this position, there is a gross monthly salary beginning from 3600 euro excl shift allowance and your travel expenses are covered.
