Your new role
Your role will make sure that owners are getting fantastic experience, every day on Amazon. This will include close collaboration with creative, marketing, category, agency and account teams. You’ll get hands-on in everything from sku set up to content optimisation, working with the internal and Amazon Vendor Central system. Ultimately this role is ideal for an experienced merchandiser/trade marketer looking to take their next step on a stretching and challenging learning curve carving out a new way forward for the organisation. It will require creativity, problem solving, resilience and networking to do so.
Accountabilities
- Deliver great, on brand at onsite experiences for consumers on Amazon: Ensuring that we are optimising how we are demonstrating our tech and delivering the organisation’s message in a digital setting.
- Passionate owner of the organisation’s content for your channel: Work with global, regional, local and agency counterparts to ensure we have the right content for your marketplace partners.
- Sku set up and planning: Work with supply, account and agency teams to ensure that the organisation’s sku’s are set up and optimised to maximise sell out
- Brand & Creative guidelines: Ensure that the brand guidelines are being met at all times on our marketplace partners and in line with our new criteria.
- Key Events: Work with Account teams on planning for key events, ensuring that the consumer journey is fully optimised.
- Testing and evaluation: Work with marketplace setting on A/B testing roadmap looking to scale learnings where possible.
- Optimise content for SEO: Optimise content on site for SEO and marketplaces search algorithms.
- External networking and partner: Build collaborative, value adding and strategic partnerships with our Amazon stakeholders, seek to understand their business in depth to unlock new value adding opportunity.
Your profile- Minimum of 4-5 years of commercial hands on experience of consumer journeys in a Digital setting, merchandising & trading plans, Amazon experience (working with Amazon or at Amazon) or another marketplace is essential, experience in an environment where there is focus on sell in and sell out is a must.
- Must have experience in managing budgets and spend - planning, implementation and evaluation. Previous experience working with retailer agencies is highly beneficial.
- A plus to have experience working with CMS, merchandising tools and Amazon Vendor Central.
- Must have experience in effectively managing a matrixed structure.
- Energised by commercial challenges and delivering plans in a fast paced dynamic environment.
- A positive attitude and bias for action, looks for solutions and creative ways of achieving goals despite set backs.
- Previous experience working with global and regional structure in a brand with detailed creative guidelines is beneficial.
- Strong communicator: Able to clearly communicate technical issues in a simple laymen’s terminology.
- Keen eye for detail particularly within a digital setting
- Low ego, happy to flow to work in times of need seamlessly moving from highly strategic concepts to operational projects.
- Fluent in English, an additional EMEA language is beneficial

Our client is an international premium Consumer Electronics brand that is known for their innovative products for both B2C and B2B. Their EMEA HQ is in Amsterdam.
