Your new role:
As a Lab Technician, you will play a key role in supporting product development and innovation within the laboratory. You’ll work closely with multiple project leaders and cross-functional teams, providing hands-on laboratory support and contributing to the generation, documentation, and communication of experimental data. You’ll become a subject-matter expert in specific test methods, conducting experiments and continuously improving their precision and accuracy through statistical analysis. In addition to supporting broader development efforts, you’ll also lead small-scale tactical projects focused on product improvements, cost optimisation, and regulatory-driven reformulations. This is a dynamic role that offers both collaborative teamwork and the opportunity to take ownership of your work.
What you’ll need to succeed:
The successful candidate should have:
- A practical understanding of chemistry, supported by an MLO 4 or MBO 4-level technical degree in a chemistry-related field.
- Experience working in a laboratory environment, with familiarity in experimental design and analysis of various chemical techniques.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
- Experience using statistical software for data analysis.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
What you’ll get in return
Hays Detachering | This is a project that will start for at least 6 months through Hays. Extension to stay within the department is anticipated. In this position, you will get a competitive salary (€2600 - €3100 gross per month based on 40 hours per week) and your travel expenses are covered.
