Your new role
As Senior Director HR Business Partner – Europe, you’ll take on a strategic leadership role, driving the execution of a global people strategy across the European footprint. You’ll act as a cultural bridge between global HR leadership and local teams, ensuring that global programs are successfully adapted to the European context. This is a high-impact position during a period of transformation, where you’ll help shape the future of the organisation. You’ll work closely with senior leaders in several departments, such as clinical and quality, and play a key role in Works Council collaboration, change management, and proactive sick leave strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, aligning HR strategy with business goals.
- Lead change management initiatives and support organisational transformation across European operations.
- Collaborate with the Works Council and ensure compliance with Dutch labour law and HR governance.
- Develop and implement proactive sick leave and well-being strategies, with early detection and intervention.
- Partner with global HR teams to optimise and embed core HR processes and analytics.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you hold an advanced degree in Human Resources, Business, or related, and you have 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including senior roles in global organisations.
- Strong expertise in Dutch labour law, Works Council relations, and European HR compliance.
- Proven ability to lead change, coach senior leaders, and drive strategic HR initiatives.
- Experience in life sciences, biotech, or other regulated industries.
- Fluency in English and Dutch.
