We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the position of Account Manager - Africa at Hitachi Construction Machinery Europe headquarters' in Amsterdam.

Experience: 5+ years on a similar role
Working hours: Full-time
Languages: fluent English

The goal of this role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned dealers, based on HCME’s Dealer Centric Approach: create enthusiasm & openness for new initiatives, drive efficient achievement of results & dealer/customer satisfaction by supporting the dealer, reach aspired targets through monitoring progress on mutual agreed Business Plan, involve all stakeholders actively in all aspects of the dealer’s business and markets.

What you will be doing
• Achieving agreed business plan targets with assigned dealers in African region
• African Dealer Network development
• Managing and improving profitability of the product portfolio
• Monitoring progress and pro-actively adjusting plans in conjunction with stakeholders
• Driving efficient achievement of results & dealer/customer satisfaction
• Developing strong and trusted relationships with your assigned dealers
• Serve as the lead-point of contact for all dealer related matters
• Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to dealers needs and objectives
• Keeping up with the economic situation, demand, trends, developments, competition
• Assisting in creating the ongoing business plan for your assigned dealers based on their growth goals and historical performance

What you will need to succeed
• HBO-Bachelor degree in Business Studies / Business Administration
• Proven experience with MS Office and its programs
• Fluent English and preferably second or third language
• Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
• Commercial mindset with customer interest first mentality backed up with organizational awareness and analytical skills
• Analytical, pro-active, solution-oriented and critical thinking
• Ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
