Your new company
Our client is a market dealer in providing corporate accounting services based in Amsterdam. The role is hybrid. The client is looking for an Accountant to join their finance team. This is a Dutch speaking role.

Your new role
You will act as a first point of contact for clients and the junior members of the team. You will bear the responsibility for the planning and completion of all stages within the process of the compilation of financial statements, safeguarding this will take place in full accordance with Dutch GAAP and other applicable laws and regulations. You will have a large impact on coaching and educating less experienced staff and interns on client assignments as well as participating in external teams on local assurance assignments. Next to the compilation of financial statements you will work closely on preparing tax compliance related work, CIT, VAT together with the in-house tax advisors.

Responsibilities

• Managing large client portfolio and be the first point of contact;
• Planning and managing process of compilation of the financial statements;
• Guide and educate less experienced staff including performance management
• Participate in larger projects internal and external;
• Ensure best quality of output and safeguarding being compliant applicable law and regulations;
• Interact with other areas of expertise such as payroll/HR, tax advise/compliance team.

What you need to succeed
You have 3+ years of experience and education level at least graduated post-master Accountancy or graduating in the near future. Dutch language is a hard requirement. Ideally you have experience with financial statement preparation and project management. Experience in and comfortable with operating in a local and international environment. Analytical and client orientated skills. Quality and result driven mentality with an open mindset for others. Effective communicator and a true team player.
