The department Animal Health is located at the Boxmeer site. There they develop new medicines specifically for animals. They produce, amongst others, vaccines that prevent bacterial, parasitic and viral infections in both pets and farm animals. Our client is one of the first companies that focusses on biological research for animal health.

Your new role

• Develop and refine production processes. scale up your invention using techniques such as fermentation, filtration and centrifugation.
• You will actively participate in the team and give your opinion on our projects, beyond your own assignment.
• Perform or develop biological or analytical tests to support the production process development, for example enzymatic assays, cell culturing and counting, SDS-PAGE, ELISA, Western blot.
• Providing a fresh perspective within the department: your opinion matters.

What you'll need to succeed

B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Applied Science, Biochemistry, Biology or Molecular Biology. You are familiar with various microbiology and cell biology techniques and are comfortable in a laboratory setting. You are searching for a role where you have the freedom to design your own experiments and take the initiative. You are fluent in both Dutch and English.

What you'll get in return

Hays Detachering | This is a project that will start with a contract for 12 months through Hays. Extension to stay within the department is anticipated. In this position, you will get a competitive salary and your travel expenses are covered.
