The Role

My client is a market leader in the automotive and renewable energy sector. For their office in Amsterdam, they are looking for a Finance Operations Specialist – Refunds. that will be part of the Finance Operations Team. Finance Operations team’s main objective is to ensure that received payments as well as outgoing refunds are processed accurately and timely in the systems while following SOX control compliance.

Responsibilities

· Perform daily activities such as customer account balance review, reconciliation of customer records in the internal systems and reports.

· Coordinate requests with different departments, support internal customers and help educate all stakeholders on best practices.

· Support audits of policy and compliance to standards, including liaison with internal and external auditors.

· Drive continuous improvement for internal processes via automation, structuring, simplification.

· Design reports and dashboards to enhance visibility into the workload and provide meaningful analysis to company management.

· Combine data streams related to team’s activities into meaningful & actionable operational reports.

Requirements

· Previous experience in Finance Operations or accounting

· Expertise MS Office, with ability to learn new software/tools with minimal supervision.

· Ability to manage a high volume of work and navigate environment with shifting priorities.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

· Ability to work independently, detail-oriented, and execution focused.

· Superior attention to detail under tight deadlines.

· Strong team player, comfortable working with multiple teams and colleagues from various management levels.

· Proficiency in English both written and verbal is required.

· Regular, reliable and predictable performance required.
