Your new role
- Ensure that all work assigned is carried out in compliance with Petrodec’ policies and procedures, and in accordance with the given instructions
- Recruit, interview, select, hire, and employ new personnel onshore and offshore
- Review and manage new starter/introductory and leaver processes, including conducting exit interviews for offshore crew-members to identify reasons for employee termination
- Coordinate and support management in the performance management cycle and annual compensation reviews including, transfers, promotions, talent reviews and succession planning
- Assist in liaising with department heads (and other designated contacts within the organisation) regarding career paths, employee development and department growth
- Be a trusted advisor for all stakeholders, providing, advice, guidance and coaching to Manager in all aspects or HR
- Participate in planned department meetings and attends other operational/safety meetings when required
- Keep up-to-date with developments in the HR profession and takes an active role in the professionalisation of the department
- Focal point, coordination and administration of the electronic Petrodec HR management system (OCS Mintra)
- Responsible for operational and administrative HR tasks, including keeping Petrodec personnel file up to date
- Liase with Company immigration lawyers to arrange work permits and visas
- HRIS development
- Able to perform the role of project manager in HR research related projects
- Provide reports regarding HR projects to the HR Manager
- Maintain his/her professional confidentiality concerning personal or corporate information
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor/Master’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent
- 3 - 5 years’ proven experience in Human Resources in The Netherlands
- Good knowledge of Dutch labour law
- experience with international mobility is a big plus
- Excellent communications skills
- Analytical and goal oriented
- Knowledge of MS Office and HRIS systems
- Understanding of all HR functions and best practices
- Curious and open minded
- Team player
- Knowledge of the Dutch language is a big plus.
