The Logistics Coordinator role in Utrecht focusses on ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of products both internationally and domestically. The coordinator manages logistics operations to control costs, meet delivery timelines, and comply with regulations, working closely with suppliers, customers, agents, and internal teams.
Key responsibilities include overseeing the ordering and delivery of raw materials to production sites and ensuring timely delivery of finished products to customers. The role also covers customer service tasks such as order entry, acknowledgements, and complaint handling, along with maintaining stock records, managing samples, following up on artwork, and conducting sanction checks. Additionally, the coordinator monitors supplier charges against budget and manages direct sales activities.
Responsibilities and tasks
To succeed in this role, you should be able to work both independently and collaboratively, solve problems effectively, and manage a complex workload while meeting deadlines. Strong communication skills, flexibility, and a supportive attitude are essential. The role also requires excellent time management, organisational skills, and sound decision-making.
You must have experience in international procurement and a solid understanding of global logistics and supply chain processes. Knowledge of transporting dangerous goods by road and sea is important.

Your Profile
The ideal candidate has at least two years of relevant experience in a similar role within an international organisation. Initially, for training and team bonding, most work will take place at the Utrecht office. You are proactive, able to work independently, and a strong team player. Fluency in English is required; Dutch is a plus. Familiarity with SAP Business One (SAP B1) is essential, and you must be available to work 40 hours per week.

Our client sells naturally based adjuvants and pesticides, and they have two production partners in EMEA. In Utrecht, they have a flexible office and most of the team is based in the UK. Our client merged with a bigger organisation, which will offer more possibilities for future personal development within a bigger company.
What you will get in return
The company offers a salary range between €3,150 and €3,500 per month, based on a 38-hour workweek. In addition, employees can benefit from a flexible work-from-home policy. The package also includes 25 holiday days per year, calculated on a full-time (38-hour) basis.
