The department Animal Health is located at the Boxmeer site. There they develop new medicines specifically for animals. They produce, amongst others, vaccines that prevent bacterial, parasitic and viral infections at both pet as farm animals. MSD is one of the first companies that focuses on biological research for animal health.

Your new role

We are looking for Maintenance Technician. In this role you will be responsible for guaranteed continuity 24/7 by adequately managing and maintaining our installations. That covers a wide range of production equipment and utilities. In short, from microscopes to steam boilers. Some of the key responsibilities, but not limited too, would include:

• Preventive maintenance work on equipment
• Making adjustments/improvements
• Execution of repair work orders
• Support with maintenance work and projects
• Recording all activities in SAP PM
• Attending business-oriented training courses (MSD)
• Reading SOPs and WIs

What you'll need to succeed

Completed technical training at MBO-4 level (AOT, Marine Engineer, E or WTB). Experience in a complex environment such as pharma, food or chemical (ideally GMP). The ideal candidate would have a minimum of at least 3+ years of experience as a Senior Technician / breakdown technician.

Broad knowledge of technical equipment and installations for both building-related and production. Continuous attention in the field of safety, quality and compliance. Native command of the Dutch language and good communication skills in English is needed.

Hays Detachering | This is a project that will start with a contract for 12 months through Hays. Extension to stay within the department is anticipated. At this position, you will get a competitive salary and your travel expenses are covered.
