Your new role
In the role of a Maintenance Technician, your main objective is to enhance the efficiency of automated process equipment to ensure smooth operations within the installations. This entails various additional responsibilities, such as adhering to Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) guidelines, and conducting inspections with appropriate work permits. You will be responsible for independently carrying out maintenance and assembly tasks on electrical installations, process instrumentation, and control systems like PLCs and SCADA. Additionally, you will address issues related to day-to-day and consignment services, as well as perform routine maintenance and optimize installation components. It will be your responsibility to select the necessary materials and monitor the progress of tasks. In collaboration with the production team, you will identify areas for improvement and propose solutions using conventional problem analysis techniques at the Yellow Belt level. You will document and report the work activities in a maintenance information system (SAP PM module) and guide external companies in the performance of their work. Finally, you will guide external companies in the performance of their work and support in the implementation of maintenance/engineering products.
What you'll need to succeed
- Electro/Measurement and Control technical education at the MBO level (required).
- Candidates should have several years of experience in a similar position.
- Experience in working with complex equipment.
- The ability to read and comprehend technical documents is necessary.
- Being proactive in identifying issues in the workplace is valued.
- Candidates should have a service-oriented approach, focusing on the needs of customers.
- Possessing a Yellow Belt certification or having relevant experience with problem-solving tools is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills in Dutch are required, and proficiency in English is highly desirable.
