Your new role

As QC Microbiology Analyst, you’ll be joining a team where different backgrounds and experiences are respected. You will be part of a team of 20+ analysts, senior analysts and lead analysts, reporting to one of the Team Leads, QC Microbiology.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)
• Perform environmental monitoring of clean rooms.
• Perform microbiological assays such as Endotoxin, Sterility, Bioburden and Plate Reading.
• Data entry, review and trending of assay results.
• Routine maintenance of lab equipment and lab spaces.
• Support department projects.
• Perform other duties as required.

What you'll need to succeed

• MLO level 3 or bachelor’s degree in Microbiology preferred with 0 to 4 years of Microbiology lab/Environmental Monitoring experience.
• Experience in applying microbiological techniques like air monitoring, water testing, and surface monitoring.
• Experience in aseptic techniques and clean room operations.
• Ability to gown for entry into clean room and supporting areas and lift approximately 12Kg.
• Knowledge of GMP, Regulations and quality control processes.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other applications.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in English are essential in this collaborative work environment (Dutch is not required).
• Comfortable in a fast-paced company environment and able to adjust work activities based upon changing priorities.

What you'll get in return

Hays Detachering | This is a project that will start with a contract for 12 months through Hays as it is maternity cover. An extension to stay within the department is anticipated at this time. In this position, you will get a competitive salary (€50,400) and your travel expenses are covered.
