A day in the life of a a Senior Engineer Process Intergartion GaN
The Senior Engineer Process Integration GaN develops and releases GaN processes in co-operation with leading GaN suppliers in order to meet Ampleon’s requirements on performance, reliability and cost. These requirements are derived from customer specifications.

• Development and release of next generation GaN process technologies for RF applications, able to translate the device-performance requirements into process specifications taking the interaction between process and epi into account
• Continuous improvement of the semiconductor process modules and architectures to balance performance versus reliability for GaN RF power amplifiers
• Implementation of the process control strategy for new process flows, including design and improvement of PCM test structures
• Analysis of data provided by GaN processing foundry (PCM- and in-line data) and correlation of supplier data with Ampleon wafer- and product data
• Keeping knowledge of innovative technical developments in the relevant areas up to date

Your profile

• In depth knowledge of and working experience in GaN technology (RF Power or High Voltage) is a must have
• Several years of experience in the semiconductor industry and with a proven track record in manufacturing
• Profound knowledge on epi is desirable
• Experience in statistical methodologies to analyze large amount of data
• Device and process simulation tools (TCAD) and related device characterization techniques
• Works in problem solving teams (six-sigma and 8D-approach)
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluent in business English
• Driven professional with an innovative mindset
• Focused on result and time to market
• Masters or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or Material Science
• Mandarin speaking May have request to relocate or have frequent travel
