Your new role
As a Service Support Engineer, you and your colleagues are responsible for the product group homogenizers. You are the daily point of contact for the customers. You take care of calculations / quotations and support both the internal organization and customers with your technical knowledge. Other tasks and responsibilities are:
- You realize the work preparation of both small service activities and large maintenance stops for customers.
- You are responsible for calculating, drawing up quotations and budget requests and the purchase of materials and resources;
- You are the link between the customer and the Field Service Engineers for service work and/or malfunctions;
- You regularly evaluate the progress and the end result with the customer;
- You are partly responsible for the continuous development of the business and sharing of new ideas is therefore greatly appreciated;
What you'll need to succeed
The most important trait we look for in a Service Support Engineer is a proactive attitude. We are looking for a go-getter with a commercial attitude to serve the clients. In addition, the following qualifications and characteristics are nicely included:
- You have MBO / HBO level;
- You are customer- and solution-oriented by switching quickly and creatively when this is required of you;
- You have affinity with process technology, experience in the sector is an advantage;
- You have a good command of the Dutch and English language, both orally and in writing.
