Your new role
For Hortiblue, a young and fresh organization in the field of soft fruit processing, we are looking for a Teamlead Production. You will be part of the team based at Freshpark Venlo. As Teamlead Production you will be managing the production and packaging operation within the warehouse. You are responsible for managing and coaching the employees and guaranteeing the quality of work done. You are also responsible for the machines and equipment and their maintenance. Optimizing the production process, ensuring compliance with safety and health guidelines and keeping the environment sanitary are also an important part of being a Teamlead Production. Another important responsibility is managing the waste processing and the disposal of it according to guidelines. Coordinating quality control with the QC employees and making sure product quality is up to standard also lie within your responsibilities.

What do you need to be successful
To be successful as a Teamlead Production, an MBO level of working and thinking is required, in addition to some desired experience within a Fresh Food environment or comparable experience. You must be able to work in a dynamic working environment where quick action is necessary. Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Excel and knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP, are also required. In terms of communication, you are fluent in English and Polish both verbally and in writing. In addition, Dutch and/or German will give you an advantage. Finally, you have a hand-on attitude and are able to work accurately. Customer- and results oriented and flexibility will make you successful in this role.

Your new organisation
Hortiblue, part of Hortifruit, is a young and fresh company in the soft fruit business. The organization specializes in packaging, sorting and distributing of mostly blueberries. They have their own growers and nurseries in several countries worldwide, like Chile, Peru, Argentina, Morocco or Spain. They also have many large retailers in Northern Europe and also take care of packing fresh fruit for other parties. The company has their headquarters in Spain and an office branch in Germany.
