As a Technical Project Manager, you identify and collect ideas, business requirements and needs, define the scope of the technical project, determine the feasibility by building a business case and define project objectives within agreed project management guidelines. You formulate the project plan, determine budget and acquire approval, in line with project objectives. Both are done by yourself or together with a project manager for larger projects. Execute (part of) the project, coordinate the activities of the project team members, monitor the progress of the project and compliance with the project plan, manage and mitigate project risks and resources, create risk awareness among stakeholders, manage stage gates and adjust the project plan when necessary. Assess and select suppliers, possible partners and other relevant organisations, based on agreed project requirements and build and maintain relationships with them. Deliver (part of) the project in line with project objectives, budget and planning, discuss project results with business, hand over project to line management and evaluate the project with all involved stakeholders.
