Your new role

We are looking for Visual Inspectors to join the Merck Manufacturing Division (MMD) of MSD Haarlem operations, and perform visual inspections as part of an empowered team to ensure product quality in the manufacture and reliable supply of product. Ensure that objectives are effectively achieved, consistent with MSD's requirements to ensure quality, compliance, safety and reliable supply to our customers.

Primary Responsibilities include :

• Visual Inspection: The primary function of the manual visual inspector is to visually inspect labelled vials for defects, such as cracks, particulate matter, and potential visual abnormalities.
• Quality Assurance: Visual inspectors play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of vials by identifying any defects that may compromise the product.
• Compliance: Visual inspectors need to understand and follow regulatory requirements and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with GMP regulations.
• Documentation: Accurate and detailed documentation of inspection results is crucial. Visual inspectors should maintain clear records of their inspections, including any deviations or findings. This documentation will be used for batch release, quality control assessments, and regulatory audits.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Visual inspectors often work closely with other roles in the manufacturing process, such as packaging operators, quality personnel, and line supervisors

What you'll need to succeed

Have you completed an MBO-1-4 in a related discipline? 0–2 years working experience in a cGMP pharmaceutical environment. Excellent attention to detail (Visual eye test will be part of the hiring procedure). Good verbal and written communication skills in English or Dutch. Enjoy working in a production environment.
