Your new role
We are looking for multiple Cell Therapy Specialist to join the team at our client in Hoofdoorp. Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to performing cell culture under GMP regulations. You will perform all tasks associated with the manufacture of clinical products following batch records and SOPs. You will work as part of a small team to execute GMP runs in close collaboration with Process Development and Quality. You will assist in the development of SOPs, batch records, deviations and change controls. You will also successfully troubleshoot processing and equipment issues and complete other duties that are assigned to you.

What you’ll need to succeed
Do you have an MLO/HLO/B.Sc. degree in Applied Sciences or related area? Do you have 1–2 years' working experience in a pharmaceutical/biotechnology manufacturing environment or relevant internship experience? Experience with cell culture, in particular cell therapy, is a plus. Do you have experience working in a GMP-regulated environment under strict conditions following SOPs? Candidates with experience in a GMP manufacturing environment will be considered first. Experience working in aseptic environments is advantageous. We are looking for people who enjoy working in a production environment and have a ‘hands-on mentality’. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills; verbal and written communication skills are essential in this collaborative working environment. You also need to be comfortable with minimal direction and be able to adjust your workload based upon changing priorities. This position operates in shifts, including weekend work, so you need to be available during these times (7am – midnight). Local candidates with access to their own car is preferred (not essential) due to irregular working hours. Candidates with masters/PhD’s will not be considered and sponsorship is not available for this role, so candidates must have full working rights and be located in the Netherlands.

What you’ll get in return
Hays Detachering | This is a project that will start with a contract for 12 months through Hays. Extension to stay within the department is anticipated. In this position, you will get a competitive salary (€49,280) and your travel expenses are covered. You will also receive additional compensation for working in shifts.
