The client is the market leader in the development and delivery of innovative interior solutions for light commercial vehicles. The client provide tailor-made solutions to leading automotive manufacturers in Europe.
Products are used every day by hundreds of thousands of professionals in mobility, construction, maintenance and logistics. Innovation, quality and cooperation are central to the client. The office is located in Nieuw-Vennep. The working environment is 5 days at the office.

The Role
As Financial Administrator
you will be an indispensable link within the Finance team. Together, we ensure that all financial processes run smoothly and efficiently. You are jointly responsible for the preparation, analysis and improvement of financial processes and reports. In addition, you play an active role in month-end closings, budget monitoring and the provision of reliable management information. You work closely with colleagues within your own department and beyond.

Responsibilities
  • Managing the general ledger/creditors/accounts receivable administration,
  • Periodically reviewing the ledger account,
  • Checking, monitoring and assessing the balance sheet, profit and loss accounts for accuracy in terms of content,
  • Coordinating and executing monthly, quarterly and year-end closings,
  • Preparation of financial reports and KPI analyses for internal and external stakeholders,
  • Monitoring the budget and advising departments based on financial insights,
  • Supporting the optimization of financial processes and systems,
  • Contributions to the annual audit,
  • Acting as a sparring partner for financial management and other departments.

What do you bring?
  • A completed HBO education (bachelor) in Finance & Control, Business Economics, Accountancy or similar;
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar finance position (preferably in a manufacturing or trading environment);
  • Knowledge of accounting systems;
  • Proficiency with Excel and/or BI tools (Power BI is an advantage);
  • Analytically strong and accurate in your work;
  • Proactive attitude and good communication skills (in the Dutch and English language).
