Your new role

In your new role, you are responsible for planning, maintaining and improving the status of equipment and components key to the manufacture and measurement of medical and other devices. In addition, you will be guiding contractors during the execution of their work and at the same time oversee safe work habits. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Performing scheduled routine and non-scheduled calibrations on production and facilities equipment.
  • Initialising and dealing with OOS situations. QA will be informed through a Calibration Alert.
  • Documenting and reviewing the work performed in accordance with the procedures of the Company and applicable regulations.
  • Suggesting improvements to existing standard operating procedures for calibration methods and systems.
  • Developing increased knowledge of the manufacturing process and equipment operation to help to identify calibration needs.
  • Assisting in establishing calibration and test methods for new and existing equipment.
  • Completing accurately all calibration test records and raising any issues.
  • Developing new standard operating procedures for calibration of new equipment.
  • Participating in projects, programs, committees and special activities that promote the company to establish its strategic goals.

What you'll need to succeed

  • An associate degree in Industrial, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical Electronics or related field.
  • Professional certifications as required by regulation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Good knowledge of compliance with Occupational Safety, Environment and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and pharmaceutical regulations is preferred.
  • Experience with SAP-PM/QM, knowledge and experience with lean methodology is a considered a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of aseptic techniques.
  • Automation proficiency (depending on functional area)
  • 2–3 years of prior experience.

What you'll get in return

Hays Detachering | This is a project that will start with a contract for 12 months through Hays. Extension to stay within the department is anticipated. In this position, you will get a competitive salary and your travel expenses are covered. Visa sponsorship cannot be provided.
