Supply Chain Planner
Location: Netherlands, Amsterdam Employment: Full-time 6-month contract
Salary: €3,500 – €4,150 per month (based on experience)
Are you an analytical and proactive Supply Planner with a passion for international supply chain operations? Our client, an industry-leading organisation with a strong footprint across the APAC region, is seeking a Supply Planner to ensure the seamless flow of goods across multiple markets. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Value Chain Planning Team and demand planners across five key clusters: Japan, South Korea, Australia & New Zealand, India, and Southeast Asia.
Your Role
As a Supply Planner, you play a crucial part in coordinating supply, managing inventory, and supporting strategic regional decisions. You will report to the APAC Supply Planning Manager and act as a central link between regional demand planners and the Global Value Chain Planning Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supply & Demand Coordination: Work closely with APAC Demand Planners to align supply with market demand.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and update inventory levels while resolving short-term stock challenges to protect critical demand streams.
- Global Collaboration: Collaborate with the Global Value Chain Planning Team to address inventory shortfalls or excesses.
- Strategic Allocation: Propose and manage regional and cross-regional supply allocations to maximise profitability.
- Prioritisation: Lead prioritisation of builds within the region to ensure key demand streams are met.
- EOL Management: Oversee the execution of end-of-life (EOL) supply and inventory processes.
- Data Review: Maintain accurate transit lead time and product life cycle data within the system.
- Airfreight Coordination: Lead, monitor, and complete end-to-end airfreight requests and processes.
- Problem-Solving: Identify issues and develop effective, sustainable solutions.
- Adaptability: Take on additional responsibilities aligned with the purpose and scope of the role.

Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management or a related field
- Proven experience and passion for inventory processes
- High attention to detail
- Solid understanding of inventory management principles and best practices
- Strong reporting skills, especially advanced Excel
- Experience with Rapid Response (Kinaxis) is preferred.
- Experience with SAP (S4HANA, CRM, BO, IBP)
- Ability to deliver results under pressure and within tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English required; Dutch not required, but considered a plus)
