About the role For a large
international multinational in
Hoofddorp, we are looking for a
Facility Assistant/Receptionist for a period of
6 months. In this varied and independent role, you will contribute daily to a smoothly running office environment, acting as the first point of contact for visitors and internal colleagues. You will work part-time
(20 hours per week), spread over 5 days, approximately 4 hours per day. Working hours fall within reception opening times (08:30–18:00) and will be determined in consultation.
What will you do?
- Receiving and welcoming visitors and suppliers
- Accepting and processing packages and deliveries
- Monitoring the building and common areas; identifying facility-related issues
- Performing light building management tasks and coordinating reports to suppliers
- Simple administrative tasks such as email communication (very little phone work)
- Planning and organising your daily tasks independently, as your manager is not based in the same building.
- Acting as part of the larger European facilities team, while being the daily point of contact on-site
What you bring- Strong social skills
- Independence: you can manage your own time and need little daily supervision
- Willingness to work on-site 5 days a week (part-time, 4 hours per day)
