I am looking for a CSO Sanctions analyst for a international bank located in Amsterdam
Main purpose of the roleCSO Sanctions Analyst is responsible to review clients and transactions presented by different applications on Money Laundering and Sanctions risks (1st handling).
Function positioningCSO Sanctions is part of 1st line called CSO with different sub teams: CSO KYC Team, CSO Data Integrity, CSO Financial Institutions, CSO Quality Assurance and CSO Sanctions.
The role includes the following:
- Clients and transactions with a possible increased risks are presented by different applications as Finscan, Pythagoras, Hotscan, Trade Compass, Continuous Monitoring Dashboard (CMD) and SIRON ™ tool. These risks are investigated and reviewed by using internal applications as CISNET, RFA/RFI tracker, KYC files, Expected Transactions Profiles (ETP), Worldcheck, HIS (vessel checking tool) and open sources as Google etc.
- Internal reporting
In order to be successful in the role, you will need the following:Essential:
- Knowledge at MBO/HBO level and wide practical experience across a number of financial services disciplines.
- Experience with companies regulated by WWFT.
- Microsoft office products especially Excel.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English. Dutch or Japanese is a plus.
- Transaction Monitoring.
- Knowledge of WWFT.
- Knowledge of key relevant legal, regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Independent, self-motivated, with an ability to adapt and be flexible in a team environment.
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently; able to influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Risk and controls awareness.
Preferred:
- Work experience with other Financial Institution(s) in Europe.
- KYC related background knowledge.
- Trade Finance.
