Your new role
As a Data engineer, you connect the bridge between Business and IT in the field of management information provision. You implement the management information needs of the customer into information products and services. This can be steering, accountability and operational information. You work in a multidisciplinary Agile Scrum team (management, development, testing and innovation) that serves various internal data users in the Finance, Risk & Investment domain.
What you'll need to succeed
- Analyzing business processes and information flows aimed at gathering relevant information for a specific subject;
- Maintaining customer relationships with the aim of gaining insight into information requirements and thus ensuring that the products to be delivered match those wishes as closely as possible;
- Realizes, together with the Agile Scrum team, information systems and (data) models aimed at management information, including performing or supporting acceptance tests;
- Supporting the business users in the implementation of the delivered products;
- Analyzing disruptions and/or changes to the information systems;
- Providing insight into the (required) data quality for accuracy and completeness for the information system to be realized and the possible improvements thereto;
- (Co-)draws up the business and logical definitions (metadata management), establishes value ranges and analysis structures.
What are you bringing?
You have knowledge of and experience with analyzing data from information systems and you can translate this analysis into data models.
You have an innovative view on the use of Data and good knowledge of the tools to process, present or analyze data.
You are aware of trends and developments within the Data world and know how to translate these into solutions within our clients company.
You have at least 2 years of relevant work experience in a Data environment. Knowledge of Finance, Risk & Investment domain is an advantage.
Requirements
Knowledge of the Dutch language in word and writing is a must.
An HBO working and thinking level
You are familiar with the application of common BI modeling techniques such as star diagrams, measures, facts and dimensions
Knowledge of the Microsoft BI stack: SSIS, SSAS, PowerBI, Microsoft SQL, Server Knowledge of Azure Datawarehouse environment.
Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Python, Familiar with T-SQL and Spark SQL
