Our client is leading producer of electricity. The role is hybrid (mainly working from home only required to be at the office on Tuesday but if you want to work more from the office also possible) and the client is looking for a Financial Accounting Specialist to join their finance team with the office located in Geertruidenberg (North Brabant)

Your new role
Your responsibilities for the accounting and reporting activities of the Dutch entities. Coordinate the closing and reporting process and ensure excellent management and statutory reporting to support Senior Management and the Board.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-Day operations for the accounting in SAP of Dutch entities
• Prepare quarterly IFRS reporting
• Prepare annual statutory reports based on IFRS
• Ensure good quality of the deliverables to the external group auditor
• Ensure good interfaces with e.g. Shared Service Center and Accounting teams abroad, Treasury, Business control, Consolidation & Reporting and Tax accounting
• Provide needed ad hoc reporting and deviation analysis for actuals
• Build a good collaboration within the Accounting community
• Contribute and support financial projects if applicable

What you need to succeed
You have 2+ years of experience in accounting or controlling. HBO education is required . Level of Dutch and English is a hard requirement for this role. Ideally you have knowledge of accounting systems (SAP S4Hahna preferred). Looking for a candidate who is proactive ,open, flexible and enthusiastic and enjoys being part of a team.
