Your new role

We are excited to add an HR Officer to their driven HR Team. In this exciting all-round HR role, you will be acting at an operational and administrative level. You will be part of our local HR team which consist out of a HR business Partner, a Talent Acquisition specialist, a Human Resource Manager and an international team of experts specialising in people and organisational development.

What You'll Do
In this role you’ll work in a generalist role within the NL HR organisation and will report to the Human Resources Manager. You actively contribute to provide the best employee experience in line with their values: People Matter, Being straightforward, Keeping promises, putting Customers first, understanding People Matter, considering the long term, Inspiring Success & Winning Together.
A glimpse of your responsibilities:

  • Answering employee inquiries and create a positive employee experience;
  • Carrying out the full range of HR administrative processes in a timely manner including recruitment and selection, appointments, terminations, absence management, performance management, pension and other insurances administrations;
  • Providing excellent service: answering questions from employees, managers and third parties;
  • Drafting an executing employment contracts, addenda and other relevant documentation;
  • Supporting the full employee life-cycle (recruitment, on-boarding, payroll, development, company culture, leavers);
  • Leading the administration of employee benefits and employee files;
  • Payroll administration (willing to learn and stay up to date with the regulations, by the way, payroll is outsourced)
  • Reports and overviews: drafting employee overviews and reports, analysing detailed information;
  • Continuously innovate and automate processes and procedures;
  • Ensuring processes, procedures and policies are properly documented and up to date;
  • Thinking along about optimising HR

What you'll need to succeed
  • Passionate about HR
  • HBO degree in HRM is a nice to have
  • You have at least >1 year of experience in a similar role or an administrative role position in a demanding and professional business environment.
  • Ability to deal appropriately with confidential and sensitive information
  • You have an enthusiastic attitude; a proactive approach, excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • You have a collaborative spirit and the ability to work well in a team
  • Strong people skills, problem solving mindset & positive can do attitude;
  • You’re eager to learn and try new things
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Knowledge and affinity of employment law and how to apply it within a business context is a nice to have;
  • Experience working with SAP is a plus
  • Knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel;
  • Dutch native and English at professional level
