A look into the life of a Life Test Techncian
The Life Test Technician supports the Life Test Engineer in making sure that technology and product reliability qualification runs are prepared and executed seamlessly without failures caused by reliability setup or execution in line with Ampleon priorities and/or project milestones. He/she joins the other reliability team personnel in the maintenance, calibration, and taking care of related laboratory equipment

Responsibilities:
  • Supports the Life Test Engineer in the technical implementation of the qualification strategy into adequate biased stress tests
  • Ensures optimal capacity planning of the tools and resources to meet the business need to release new technologies and/or products in time
  • Alignment of maintenance and calibration schedules with external suppliers
  • Ensuring processes used by the laboratory are documented and up to date
  • Responsible for having the laboratory to be in line with ESH/ARBO/ISO requirements and takes measures when needed
  • Handles execution of tests and carries out the handling of sample products in reliability testing
  • Provides logistical support for reliability activities
  • Reports to Reliability and Failure Analysis Manager

Your profile
  • Preferred with electronics/mechanical knowledge/background MBO level
  • At least 5-year experience
  • Quality conscious
  • Basic computer skills (Excel/Word/Outlook)
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in Dutch/English
  • Good planning skills with a focus on problem prevention and improvement
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Good planning skills with a focus on problem prevention, problem-solving and critical thinking
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Team player
