Your new role:
As an Operator, you play an important role in the production process of fresh food products. You ensure that the production line operates smoothly and that the fresh products is processed and packaged correctly as a final product. Your tasks and responsibilities include:
• You start, operate, adjust, and convert the production line, depending on the type of food product being made.
• You solve malfunctions, perform line checks, and record production data in the system, such as the number of packages, the quality, and the shelf life of the products.
• You contribute to improvement processes and ensure that objectives are met, such as productivity, safety, and hygiene.
• You work with a great team of about 8 colleagues, whom you also supervise. You distribute the work, give instructions, check the results, and solve any problems that arise.
• You can grow into the position of Working Foreman, where you take on more responsibility for planning, inventory, quality control, and reporting.

To be successful, what do you need?
As a Mechanical Operator in Food Products, you need technical insight, oversight, and independence. You operate, adjust, and convert the production line. You solve malfunctions and maintain the machines. You have experience leading a team, are a team player & go-getter, and work hygienically. In addition, you motivate, coach, and support your colleagues. You have a positive and proactive attitude and work accurately and neatly. Moreover, you can work with Microsoft Word & Excel. You enter, edit, and analyze production data and create and send reports and overviews. You work in a two-shift system from Monday to Friday (negotiable), are flexible, and step in during busy times or absences. You have experience or interest in the food industry. You are familiar with HACCP rules, food safety, and quality standards.

What do you get in return?
As a Mechanical Operator in the food industry, you will receive an attractive employment benefits package, which includes:
• A40-hour work week (negotiable), where you work in two shifts.
• A salary of €2,100-3,100 gross per month (excluding allowances), depending on your age and work experience. You also receive 8% holiday pay, which is paid out in May.
• 25 holiday days per year, which you can take in consultation with your supervisor. You are also entitled to statutory holidays.
• A travel allowance of €0.21 per km, up to a maximum of 30 km per day. You also receive compensation for any parking costs.
• Good secondary conditions, such as a pension scheme, collective health insurance, and accident insurance.

Your new organisation
The organisation manufactures a wide range of fresh and matured food products under private label and, on request, in bulk packaging for the processing industry. They do all this with the highest achievable certification.
