Your new role
As an operator at Bacteriological Production in Boxmeer you are responsible for all activities necessary for the production of a high-quality and safe antigen. These antigens are then used to make vaccines that improve the quality of life for animals around the world. As an operator you will work in a fun and motivated team. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
  • Preparation of media, from small scale growing to single-use cultivation techniques on a large scale up to 1500L.
  • Be involved in all aspects of the downstream production including GMP documentation.
  • You will work in a fast-growing network where you will face new challenges in making the products better and expanding on the number of antigens that are made.
  • There would be multiple opportunities for self-development. You will gain experience in a GMP environment, be fully trained to use lean / six-sigma. Every employee is yellow belt trained.

What you'll need to succeed
The most suitable candidate will have training in Biotechnology, process technology, process automation or similar. MBO or bachelor or relevant work experience. 2+ years of relevant working experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology field. Cleanroom experience would be considered an advantage. Awareness of quality and safety during production. The ideal candidate will be motivated, eager to learn and have an analytical way of thinking. Dutch and English (written and spoken) is a strict requirement for this role. Flexibility to work with a shifted schedule.
