I am looking for a PM with strong hardware implementation experience, especially with Cisco, Meraki and Nexsan (he will look for experience in other storage hardware implementation experience). Experience in new build data centers is recommended. Must be within commuting distance of Amsterdam to be on-site for a day or two during the week.This role is to replace a PM who recently resigned to start a role elsewhere. The role is now open and he will be looking at rates of 600 to 700 per day.
The client is also looking for resources in Ireland to fill this role. Profile of the person - Curious mind / Curious, able to capture nuances, especially cultural sensitivities. Suite build - purchase and install network equipment (switches, wireless access points, etc.) to connect a new data hall in an existing facility to the facility and provide connectivity for building monitoring, access control, security camera, etc. systems.
Orders - procure and install network equipment as needed for site-specific projects (new monitoring servers, additional wireless access points, replacement workstations, etc.).
2 Process development: work with DLR teams to complete the new build process document for legacy Interxion construction (from approval to execute the project to project completion). Compare the process with older DLR construction processes and provide recommendations to align and streamline the two into one process.
3 Integration support: project manage IT teams that integrate DLR acquisitions into the DLR network. Adapt IT project templates for integration efforts and track IT results for the project.
4 Tools.Trouble ticket systems (e.g., Service Now) to receive and respond to new project requests.
Schedule management tools (e.g., Smartsheets) to track and manage project delivery schedules.
