Your new role
As a Lab Technician you perform routine, microbiological analyses on raw materials, intermediates and bulk/end products. The diversity of activities, customers and dynamics within the organization ensure a varied working environment, where priorities can constantly change. It is expected that you proactively and constructively contribute to the development and improvement initiatives of the routine microbiological tests and that you co-implement them as an SME.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- The routine execution of several conventional microbiological analyses.
- Organising your own non-routine tasks according to a prescribed role card.
- Taking responsibility for compliance with Safety and GMP/GDP regulations.
- Participate in RCAs and/or trend studies in multidisciplinary (internal) teams
- Answer questions as a Subject Matter Expert in audits and inspections
- Identifying opportunities for improvement within the QC-M lab.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate would have completed an MBO or HBO in Microbiology or related field. Experience working in a GMP environment would be seen as a plus. Work experience in a microbiological lab, with the classic techniques is preferred. Preferably knowledge of all microbiological techniques used at the QC-M lab and experience with the tasks associated. You should be able to work both in a team and independently, take responsibility and initiative. Have a hands-on mentality and be flexible. Good oral and written skills in the Dutch and English language.
