Your new role
We are searching for a new QC Team Lead to join a motivated, dynamic team at one of our clients focused on finding a cure for cancer. Given the nature of the treatment being delivered, we are looking for someone who carries out their work to the highest possible quality standard. Your new role will contribute to improving the Sample Management lab and will make a significant contribution to their treatment and overall growth as a company. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
What you'll need to succeed
- Deviation and change management with a first time right attitude
- Develop, improve, revise and review procedures, KLIMS and process flow
- LEAN lab and LEAN process flow
- Housekeeping of sample management
- Maintenance of lab equipment and lab areas
- Employee evaluations, one on one, coaching, succession planning
- Training of employees
- Distribution of QC samples on site
- Continuous improvement projects
- SME for sample management
- On-call QC service
- Additional duties as required
We are searching a well-seasoned QC professional with previous experience working in a QC lab in a biopharmaceutical environment.
- 5 + years in a QC role
- 1 year + in a management role (ideally more)
- Strong project management experience also okay
- GMP experience is a must
- Fluent in English
- Strong communication skills
- Stress resilient

What you'll get in return
Hays Detachering | This is a project that will start with a contract for 12 months through Hays. Extension to stay within the department is anticipated. At this position, you will get a competitive salary (starting at €67,050) and your travel expenses are covered. Only candidates who are eligible to work in the EU will be considered for this role.
