Senior Technician QC Microbiology

Your new role
As the Senior Technician Microbiology you will report to the Lab Manager and be responsible for various Quality Control Biotech-Microbiology activities. Alongside this, some of your other responsibilities will include providing knowledge and in depth understanding of microbiological techniques including endotoxin, environmental monitoring and identification of micro-organisms. You will provide technical expertise for QC Microbiology studies, develop and execute method suitability for microbiological analysis and keep relevant documentation up to date. Further responsibilities include creating, reviewing and approving procedures, test methods, protocols, reports and other documentation related to QC Microbiology testing and providing training to QC Microbiology staff to assure testing activities occur in an efficient and GMP compliant manner and finally, performing efficient and timely technology transfer of QC Microbiology test methods alongside being the Subject Matter Expert during inspections and audits.

What you'll need to succeed
BSc in Microbiology, Biology or related fields. An advanced proficiency in microbiological identification (MaldiTOF and/or MicroSEO) is a plus. Experience with GMP and preferably GLP and LIMS. Experience working in a (pharmaceutical) process environment is preferable. You are able to work on a project basis and to keep an overview of different projects and deadlines. The ideal candidate has experience in drafting protocols and reports, hands on mentality and good oral and written skills in Dutch and English.
