General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
25 May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) has come into force across the European Union. In The Netherlands it replaced the former Personal Data Protection Act.
The GDPR imposes more stringent obligations than the current legislation on organisations when handling personal data.
Our priority is to live up to the GDPR. Hays has therefore taken steps to ensure that we comply with the GDPR requirements.
We have conducted a thorough GDPR-readiness compliance programme, to review and update our policies, documents and procedures, to ensure compliance with the new legislation and general approach to data protection.
